i dont know why i stil have not seen this.
twas a joak.
will watch those 2.
Me and my girl watched most of "Glengarry Glen Ross" last night for my birthday before falling asleep (it is my favorite movie). I love how the entire cast is so entirely into their characters. I get so much chills watching Alec Baldwin's cameo, and seeing Moss and Roma go at it at the end... You wonder what happened to Alan Arkin's character (I know nothing because it is a fictional universe).
Because you're lucky?
It wasn't terrible, but it was fair-to-middling at best and certainly overhyped. The performances are generally OK, with some strong supporting performances. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence both have some charisma and are generally likeable, although neither of them blew me away. But the dialogue is often terrible, and the fact that the movie received an Oscar nomination for editing is hilarious. Editing and post-production are amateurish. One small example: Cooper's character wears a necklace throughout the movie. Several times, when he's engaged in a conversation that involves multiple cuts back and forth between him and the other person, the necklace will sometimes be tucked into his shirt, and sometimes hanging outside of it, in the same conversation (and without his hands going anywhere near his neck). Similarly sloppiness and laziness appears elsewhere.
So you're saying that you spent time with the girl who may or may not be your girlfriend, on your birthday, and did not have sex.
What did she think of your rendition of Proud Mary?
Just pimping you. Hope you had a good birthday.
This is just for Neo. Watched that movie about being a wall flower with your girl in it this weekend. Was a very cute movie and almost...almost...not formulaic.
It was best ever...eight times over (if you get what I am saying...)
interesting take. ill still watch it though. i hope that wont make me unlucky. lol at the editing though.
Jennifer Lawrence when shes shakin her ass dancing. Ohmagerd.
Agreed. I think it would be better if the writer hadn't felt the need to impose an external "cause" for the kid's problems. That made it feel a bit too pat for me. But definitely cute, with some good young actors.
Nah, you'll be fine. You'll probably enjoy it, at least somewhat. As I said, it's certainly not a terrible movie. It's OK. I just don't think it comes close to the hype. There are definitely some funny scenes. Chris Tucker is particularly good.
Just watched 42. Really, surprisingly enjoyable. Ford was great in it.
I was surprised at how good Tucker was. All I associate him with is high pitched annoying whining.
yeah, im easily entertained. ill like it just fine.
Also, nods for all the 80s nostalgia. I can still remember my first midnight showing of RHPS when I was about 15.
Watching Along Came a Spider right now on netfrix.
