Shutter (The Original) -- to use the DVD's nomenclature.
What a creepy movie
Touching the void? Documentary.
Watched Yojimbo last night. Classic.
Watched Scent of a Woman tonight. HooAhhhh!
Putting this here instead of starting a new thread.
Coming soon: This is the End
Am I the only person that thinks Vertigo is overrrated?
i liked it. why do you think its overrated?
I didn't particularly care for it. I didn't quite like Rear Window either.
Vertigo is not my fav by any means. Largely as I think Kim Novak is overrated. In the hands of somebody like Grace Kelly it could have been an interesting role.
Hitch had originally cast Vera Miles but grew unhappy with the screen tests.
well, its not my favorite movie of all time, that is for sure, but i did think it was a great a movie. are you guys saying you didnt really like it, or just that you think its overrated?
Vertigo is my favorite Hitchcock movie. Might be the most Hitchockian of all Hitchcock movies.
We have a documentary thread, it was mentioned there
If you liked this see 180° South, its much different but oddly the same.
Preferred North by Northwest. _____________ Saw The Master. Good, very Magnolia. Not the best PTA film but it was full of depth and stuff to think about after it ended. Cinematography was amazing for a film of this style. J Phoenix did a marvelous job. He's a great director, a treasure actually. Wish there were more like him.
Great movie, shot in B & W about a famous Brazilian football star from the late 40's and 50's. Really worthy seeing. Subtitled.
I'm watching Spartacus SS3: War of the damned.
