Just saw "Stoker"--very dark, creepy and suspenseful, much more than I had expected from the coming attractions. One major plot implausibility, but I won't go into that here lest I spoil it for anyone who wants to see it.

I'd give it maybe a "B" rating.

Fresh - Really great film that just popped up on Netflix. Hadn't seen it since I was a teenager

Ive had this quote on my FB since 2006 when I started it.

"Anything lost can be found again, except for time wasted"-Samuel Jackson-Fresh

Those coming of age movies...This one is way under rated.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy 8/10
The Master 8/10

If you like your spy movies with explosions and set pieces and your dramas with a clear story arc, look elsewhere. Both movies will challenge you in different ways.

Both are slow and methodical, brilliant and flawed, the former with excellent acting, the latter with two of the greatest screen performances you are likely to see.

You can do it Stitchy ! Which version? Regular or Election Day? Also, this is a film that gets better with repeat viewings. It is a very visual film with many sight gags. NIXON was to politics what Mommie Dearest was to parenting. :lurk: Updates when you are done please.

V/H/S had a couple of good moments but mostly sucked. The whole handheld camera / documentary format is soooo tired.

Speaking of David Lynch, a word to the wise: Eraserhead made be the worst movie of all time to watch while tripping on acid.

Just saw Bellflower on Netflix instant, solely based on the 12 word description. Best random pick Ive ever landed on, love and flamethrowers.

I recommended it like 80 pages ago, its a good movie.

Watching Paul. The trailer for this movie ******* blew, which is why I didn't watch it before. But it's quite funny actually.
