    From Wiki

Ron Woodroof (Matthew McConaughey)—a homophobic electrician and rodeo cowboy—is diagnosed with AIDS and given 30 days to live.

dont know how you can be gay and homophobic...talk about self loathing.

As for TWOWS...if you watched the movie, you'd know it was a nick name they gave him...also not sure how you found this boring

According to a lot of the people who knew him, he wasn't completely averse to having sex with men.

Love Au Revoir, one of my most favorite films. How was Stray Dog?

It's alright. It reminds me a lot of the other 1940s cop films (Pickup on South Street, The Naked City, He Walked by Night). I didn't find anything particularly amazing about it though.

Stray Dog is a better than average low budget 40s cop movie, but its not really what you would hope for in a Kurosawa.

Also have been meaning to watch talented mr ripley...since PSH died, but also havent gotten around to it.

ScarJo should just let those titties out already. Don't be like Meg Ryan and wait until you're 42

McCarthy's books are much better than this film.

I think history will be kinder to The Counselor than the reception it got. People went in expecting No Country for Old Men Redux. It will have more staying power than the likes of Philomena...

    Possibly, yes.
I was about to watch Philomena today, so I don't have an opinion on this one yet.

I mentioned his books though, because I feel the movie's major flaw was due to the poor script (not to mention the dialogue).

Have pomposity, criticism, and talking out of one's ass fallen out of favor since I stopped regularly checking in to SF?

And when did the least value - add poster in the history of Internet fora start slamming people?

    Sheesh.

no, that is the SF style at times, and for some. does not make it less asinine.

i slam people when they say primo stupid shit. the value i add or detract is irrelevant to the absurd comment i called out.

Are you implying that a post has to be really, really stupid if stitch is dumping on it? Because I think that's a pretty accurate analysis.

Really good. The themes are still surprisingly relevant.
