Saw Wolf of Wall Street last night.

Very good movie. Not what I expected at all. Had little idea of what to expect going into it. EXTREMELY raunchy. Fucking hilarious. Sex, drugs, and hilarious exchanges between Leo and Jonas and the crew.

Highly recommend. I'm not a movie snob for what it's worth - I take them at entertainment value and not much more.

Fargo (instant on netflix) would be the next logical choice but O Brother Where Art Though, Miller's Crossing, and Barton Fink are all fine movies too.

Just watched "La grande Bellezza"("The Great Beauty"). This movie is great, I would not have gone to watch it if it wasn't for some last minute coincidences. A truly excellent movie that has already won a lot of awards, for example, best director, best actor, best operator etc. It is an Italian movie that I find really refreshing and something that I did not expect at all. You will be thinking of it long after leaving the cinema hall. Also because this is styleforum, it as also a very stylish movie, costumes and sets.

Was probably my least favorite heist film ever...

Finally got to see Casablanca and honesty I didn't think it was THAT good.

I also saw In the Mood for Love. Visually it's stunning but I wasn't that into the movie aside from that. Maybe having to read subtitles lessened the experience.
