Seconds

directed by John Frankenheimer, starring Rock Hudson. Like living your own very intense paranoid fantasy.

The opening sequence seems to have inspired the classic Spike Lee dolly shot, where the actor is on the dolly along with the camera and sort of slides through the scene.

Just watched Casino Jack and the United States of Money. It was very well done. I felt more furious than I have in quite some time.

They get Bob Ney and Tom Delay to do interviews which I was surprised by. Ney seems remorseful. Delay is so full of hubris you can practically see it shooting out his eyeballs. Hopefully that'll protect his keester while he's sitting in the pen.

Nothing like a bit of cock amputation to go to bed on.

Beau Travail for this weekend. Denis Lavant is strangely compelling

Just finished Rome. Waited far to long for it. Very good stuff.

Now my only problem is that I feel a desperate need to find myself in a situation where I can say "you have crossed the Rubicon".

That movie is just fabulous. So many good actors turning in so many good performances. Jude Law and Mark Wahlberg are just tops.

The actor you are thinking of is Jason Schwartzman.

Inside Job tonight. I expect to be pissed off grandly.

Beau Travail: interesting. Beautiful images. Bit more homoerotic than I usually go for.

Watched Morning Glory last night. Enjoyable fluff, and half way through I recognized a scene from the GIFs thread.

No, you will get mad early and often. What a ponzi scheme.
