I have, and I agree they haven't let me down yet. I just remember seeing the trailer and it was terrible.

Being There. One of the funniest movies I've seen in some time.

I always think of it as the anti-Forrest Gump

I like that. It's a brilliant movie, and a fantastic book.

We watched Argo last night. I enjoyed it, but it was hardly Best Picture quality. Unlike Titanic for example :p

I felt like the tension in the final sequence was quite forced and unlikely.

I'm not sure if these have been posted: the Jack Kirby storyboards for the real movie Lord of Light, from the novel by Roger Zelazny, that became the fake movie Argo:

Watching the first Hulk movie. Most of it is terrible but Nick Nolte is fucking awesome.

the Eric Bana one? That one is hilariously terrible. Ang Lee makes some good movies but who in the fuck thought he should make a Hulk movie.

The Ed Norton Hulk is just as terrible, but for completely different reasons.

an older movie, but in case you haven't seen it how about "out of the blue" with hopper and linda manz?

korine's upcoming "spring breakers" looks like it might be ok, too.

I had the same fears as stitches because the trailer sucked leprechaun cock, but I guffawed multiple times throughout the movie.

Watched The Gong Show Movie Friday night. Goddamn that show was hilarious. The best parts of the movie were obviously the outrages from the show, including Jaye P. Morgan's breasts. Conne, you should definitely watch the movie for that scene alone.

After The Master, I decided on a P.T. Anderson day.

All seen for the 3rd or 4th time, which I think is where I begin to appreciate his brilliant movies.

    Boogie Nights 9/10
    Magnolia 8/10
    There Will Be Blood 7.5/10

    Really enjoyed all three.

have not seen boogie nights, would agree on magnolia being about an 8, but would give TWBB at least an 8.5.

I just got home from seeing Dead Man Down. I really enjoyed it. Nice and gritty with some good violence, nothing over the top. The ending action sequence was pretty sweet.
