I actually have a visceral hatred for Boondock Saints. The most pretentious load of sophomoric garbage that I've ever seen.

It wasn't a good movie, but worse than TDKR?

PB your sarcasm is usually pretty obvious so I am going to assume you know what that is.

What don't you like about "TDKR"? It seems like some of you guys have quite the hipster approach to movies.

I haven't seen the movie but I have read some reviews at RottenTomatoes and IMDB. And I can honestly say that I trust these websites. They're not easy on movies, neither the listed "pro" reviews nor the user reviews. And this film gets some negative reviews but also lots of positive. Therefore I find it hard to believe that you can call it crappy or even use negative absolutes when you try to judge it objectively. Unless of course you have a huge aversion to any Hollywood/blockbuster-related "action movies".

Anyway, it seems like you too can't articulate enough objective statements (and saying Memento was better doesn't really count). Too long? Alright, but does that justify branding a movie as crappy? I don't think so.

It was not crappy even if the first two were better films... Ah forget it. Been there and done that in the DKR thread. :dozingoff:

When did you watch it? I find that people who caught it around the film's release hold it in fairly high regard, while those who caught it years later based on word of mouth tend to not care for it much.
