Dude, really bad action films are my favorite. Hell, I said "Battleship" was top 2012 flick. Also, one of the reasons I love travelling overseas is there is ALWAYS a network that shows nothing but B-grade action films from the U.S. I get no fewer than 10 movie recommendations each trip.
OK, for some reason I thought it hadn't done well financially.

^ It may not have met expectations as quickly as people hoped, but once the dust clears (the huge back-end payoff cheques get cut) and the DVD sales begin this thing will gush money for a long time.

Mind you, there probably are some accountants out there preparing arguments to show that it will never make money.

I get the love for bad action movies, hell I will always watch "I Come in Peace" or "Universal Soldier 2" if they're on the TV, but don't say you're looking forward to them. C'mon, man.

Dude, I have free movie passes, really unorthodox work hours and it will already be warm by the time it comes out? Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing ish like that for free on the big screen.

Ahh, did not realize it would be free. Yes, I'd probably sneak some vodka into a theater and watch GI Joe in Imax for free too. Go in good health, you have my blessing.

I finally got around to seeing Looper, which was very enjoyable. Piper Parabo and Emily Blunt didn't hurt either.

Jarmusch's best film, better than Dead Man.

Just saw "Hansel and Gretel." For light, silly, escapist fare, I thought it was pretty damn good--a lot of fun. Gemma Arterton filled out her black leather pants very fetchingly, even if they probably were not quite correct for women's wear in the 16th or 17th century or whenever the dramatic date was supposed to be. The firearms were also extremely anachronistic, but who cares?

I would, probably. I can't stand anachronisms. Like for fuck's sake spend five minutes to research the time period you're making a film about.

The Muppet Movie - Rainbow Connection still makes me a bit misty. Jim Henson was an awesome dude. RIP.

If "Hansel and Gretel" were a serious historical drama, I would emphatically agree with you, but it most obviously is not!

    Agreed. Miss that bastard.

I've heard that he was a victim of the 'alternative medicine" crowd. Hope you assholes are happy, you killed Kermit the Frog. Fuck you.
