Terminator 2 would be scary at age 9, yeah!

Yeah I didn't realise it was him in 300 either until after his break through role in Hunger. I've yet to see Fish Tank, let me know what you thought of it once it's watched :)

Have you seen Eden Lake? An unusual horror and very very disturbing.

Yeah I love Thor, excellent comic movie, as is The Avengers - though I'd have liked more Black Widow and Iron Man banter (close ups of SJ's ass :D )

LOL, a tad scary hoozah. Did you go and jerk off afterwards to cheer yourself up? :slayer:

Agree with all of the above, however try re-watching it. I enjoyed it much more the second time, as you no longer focus on the crappy aspects and can focus on some of the nicer ideas of the film.

Yes, I liked the cinematography too. I wouldn't go so far as to call it shit but I echo your sentiment about how it could have potentially been so much better. Let's take the squid-section scene, for instance. While on the surface it was tense and suspenseful, it's rather silly when you look back at it. I believe it could have been an amazing scene if filmed differently. It just felt jarring, to be honest.

I find it very confusing that Hulk/Bruce Banner is always portrayed by a different actor.

    +1

great flicks, and i enjoyed them for the exact same reasons.

i found the 2 maintenance guys in the first alien movie to be far more ridiculous than anyone in prometheus. the guys were supposedly top of the line scientists. just morons in street sense. and they did not think they would need that.

chea. did not sleep well for weeks. :(

    yessiree!

so u r saying i am hip to the jive? ;)

How so? I mean, I may have exagerated when I said Arlington Rd is one of my faves, but its certainly a great movie.
