I hate a lot of musicals, but the ones that I like i love, like Sunday in the Park with George, Spamalot, Mikado, etc.

The Producers is by the far the best musical film adaptation, only because it fully embraces the ridiculousness of such adaptations.

Cold Fish is a 2010 Japanese serial killer film directed by Sion Sono. The film is about a quiet and unambitious owner of a tropical fish shop whose life and family are taken over by a fellow fish entrepreneur who happens to be a serial killer.

watched this 40, with the wife yesterday. another movie almost ruined by the trailers. it was billed as some kind of laugh a minute sequel to knocked up. it was not. it had some comic relief, but it was clearly not a comedy.

we both enjoyed the movie, it was extremely true to life in many regards, and it was interesting to see a lot of lifes normal struggles portrayed on the big screen, even if slightly or greatly exaggerated. i dont get why the trailers cant just present the movie properly. i wont super rant on this topic, cuz i have already before.

then before bed i watched premium rush. fun flick. i recommend it for mindless fun.

I kind of refuse to watch premium rush due to it being pretty much the same film as this

I've seen Premium rush and after seeing the trailer for Uncertainty they look nothing alike besides some superficial similarities (e.g. having Joseph Gorden-Levitt in them). Uncertainty looks more like a rip off of Run Lola Run.

Worth watching but more for the concept/themes than the actual plot. It is a fun watch though and not a particularly long movie, so it's not like it's a huge time investment.

I really enjoyed Run Lola Run, and have seen it several times.

We watched The Prize last night, a Hitchcockian thriller from 1963. Starring Paul Newman, Edward G. Robinson and Elke Sommer, and with Kevin McCarrhy in a supporting role, and written by Ernest Lehman, who also wrote North by Northwest. Similar to NbN in tone, and sharing at least one actor and a similar scene, it's certainly not at the same level but is still a very enjoyable flick. I was also reminded of another personal favorite, "Charade", and I'd say they're about on par.

They crux of both movies is JGL running around Manhattan over money. Seems like the same thing to me, but then again I saw uncertainty over 2 years ago and have not seen premium rush.

I just finished Taken 2. Definitely not as good as the first one, but I didn't think it was horrible. Definitely entertaining.
