All three are good. Silent Running is a personal favourite

For more '60s/'70s goodness add Omega Man, Fahrenheit 451, THX 1138, The Trial and Alphaville. For shits and giggles throw in Sleeper and Planet of the Apes.

My friends' minds are blown when I tell them I've seen Eraserhead about 9-10 times. Actually, I'm going to watch Mulholland Drive today, or maybe Lost Highway.

I recently repurchased all of Lynch's offerings on Blue Ray. You see Inland Empire? It is like Mullholand Drive, but weird.

If you like Eraserhead, you'd love Japan's answer....Tetsuo: Ironman.

Also, why no mention of Blue Velvet? Amazing flick. Candy colored clown, baby!

Well, we were talking about dystopian futuristic movies that led to the discussion. Blue Velvet doesn't really come to mind.

That scene is perfectly normal. That occurs in my life every day walking the streets of New York City.

That has been all over cable recently. Don't see the appeal in that flick.

    Saw "Olso, August 31"

A bit meditative, but well constructed and well acted.
