Okay, I sang along in the theaters. True story: we saw it three times in the week it came out. Three times. By the third time people had caught along to the sing-along aspect.

Yes well I'm older so that's why.

The scene where the girls blame the mess on the henchmen.
    "It was his idea"
    "Whuuuuu?

watched two movies the past 2 nights

children of men - thought it was really good. michael cane was amazing of course. i wasnt super pleased with the ending, and i thought the first 2/3 of the movie were better than the last 1/3, but all in all it was quite good imo.

breach - fantastic. compelling and gripping from start to finish. chris cooper is just outstanding. wonderfully told and paced story. thanks for the rec teacher!

My girlfriend wanted to start watching the original Swedish version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It's like 9 fucking hours long. Started it. It is ok.

Wife did that up for Movie Night a while back, subtitles didn't quite work so she narrated, more or less, based on the book which she had read and I hadn't seen yet.

Your wife narrated a 9 hour movie to you? The subtitles seem to work fine for us.

I haven't seen the American one. I guess I am going to have to after I finish this one just so I can brag about how much better the Swedish one is.

on a trans-Atlantic flight, the American one was an option on the video screen. My other half put it on her screen and the number of ass and titties they showed was pretty funny, especially since she had an aisle seat.

Dont get me wrong I like swedish film...but it just dragged for me. And if I am watching a movie with subtitles it really cant be boring because I will lose interest quicker.

The american version is good it really bothers me when "film elitist" (not directed at you, but critics) cant accept that both are good.

I really enjoyed the american version. I started watching the swedish one but it didn't work for me. Maybe because the american one set the bar.
