Passed out from excessive amounts of drinking...went to the biggest drinking school in the country per student. Didnt bode so well for my grades freshman year, but live and learn.

3 in beer 1 in hard alcohol...and to think i honestly had no idea when I was picking schools.

I'm sending my kids to UCLA. It has everything. Athletics, weather, culture, beautiful people, and good academics.

I dont blame you...PC is a good school with a unique core liberal arts curriculum you will not find at any other school. But the fact that it is one of the most homogeneous schools in the country with upper middle class kids accounting for like 90 percent of the population ull find there is plenty of drinking going on. It is what it is, I honestly didnt go there to drink and have fun I went there because I was a liberal arts major (economics) and they have a strong liberal arts program.

It gets overlooked because it is not a big university and it can not be truly classified as a liberal arts school according to princeton review newsweek etc because more than 50 % of the students are not liberal arts majors. PC is only ranked behind Vilanova in this category.

but it isnt like we didnt have athletics either...ranked in mens soccer and hockey. We were a top baseball program before title 9. Had a member of the basketball team the year I graduated go first round in the NBA draft...wish the celtics kept that pick instead of wasting it....but it is what it is.

I liked it as well, but it helps that I have a 12-year old mentality so I giggled a lot.

Also watched lately (ESTROGEN ALERT) Mamma Mia! The Movie. I successfully resisted the urge to sing and dance along, though.

Loved Despicable Me. I possibly liked it more than my kids did.

I would have liked it more if it were less preachy and more funny. I admire it's chutzpah more than I enjoyed it.

Hmmm...not sure. I have seen it since we saw it in theaters. I should watch it again...with or without the kids!

The preachiness actually didn't detract for me, but I was expecting it also.
