Seemed a little too (500) Days of Summer for my taste -- which I, personally, hated.

that's silly. All the Pretty Horses was a Mccarthy novel and the movie was mediocre at best. Adapting a great book into a great movie still requires great direction and acting. cf Bonfire of the Vanities

What a piece of shit movie. You're an idiot for watching it. The trailer was unbearable and that was 90 seconds.

I don't know what Larry Charles is thinking anymore

^ It was a horrible movie is all. I liked it better when it was called Annie Hall.

Watched the Hunger Games last night.

Went in with zero expectations, and actually enjoyed it.

Yeah a sad day. I really love his early film The Hunger with David Bowie. While not a fan of his later very commercial work, it is still a very sad thing to hear.

Re-watched Troll Hunter last night. I love this film! So fantastically fun and silly, without being too over the top.

I love how the actors and script improvise with everyday objects - a dented cargo store has been attacked by trolls wanting to chew on "the good stuff" - pylons are electric fences for Jotnars - giant trolls! Childhood imagination put on film, in a witty and rather excellent way :slayer:

The last 15 minutes of Fire in the Sky are badass, overall the movie was rather dull though.
