Most of Spiegelman's work has magnificent rhythm -- from the story telling, the imagery and the expressive drawing. Maus is awesome, and I'm going to make sure my kids read it when it's time for them to learn about what happened to their great grandparents.

My grandparents donated a lot of stuff to the Sydney Jewish Museum, so I'm in the same boat to an extent, having visited the place a million times.

Just finished watching Old Boy. It's been on my to do list for a while now. I watched the subtitled version, not the dubbed version on Netflix. The movie was outstanding!!

Forever alone on a Friday night.

Watching Dark City. Such a great Sci-Fi film. Love the set pieces. And Jennifer Connelly....drool.

Dark City's narrative is pretty complex and the themes are nice and disturbing.

I usually can't sit through films that are overly noir-ish, but I liked when I saw it.

    Love Dark City.

It's been a number of years since I've seen Old Boy but I remember liking it.

I think in time the Bourne series will not be looked upon fondly. The whole unsteady camera combined with 3 cuts per second isn't actually very good film making, it just nauseating.

I watched Too Fat for Forty, one of those Kevin Smith Q&A things. Highly enjoyable if you like Kevin Smith talking on a stage for three hours.

Took in Chasing Madoff, which was pretty entertaining only if because the guy who figured out that Madoff's whole operation was a fraud was totally totally paranoid.

Finally, I watched the Oldman version of Tinker Tailor. I thought it was pretty good stuff. I would like to watch the British mini-series sometime.
