Exactly. I'm beginning to think that why is a mentally challenged troll. It wouldn't even be funny in DT. Hero is a great movie, House of Flying Daggers is at least decent.

Because you use GData, you need to remove &feature=youtube_gdata_player from your links. So instead of , you need to write .

    Then it works.

    PS: That movie sounds awesome.

Pusher III. Nothing mind blowing, but I enjoyed it.

I've heard Kung Pow! is really funny from some people, but others have said it's really stupid humor. I usually don't like satires, so I'm not sure about it. Maybe I'll watch it sometime.

That Mother movie looks like a pretty standard Hollywood thriller except with Asian actors and subtitles. So what's the point? There are still plenty of thrillers -- all probably better -- that I still haven't seen. Is there anything different about it, or does it warrant more approbation because it's foreign?

I think it's a general problem that when I watch Asian movies they always feel like really cheap and fake imitations of Hollywood.

Aren't they both martial arts movies? Isn't the movie you recommended also a martial arts movie?

Also, the tagline 'A Tale of Beauty and Passion' seems pretty suspect for an Asian movie.

Perks of being a wallflower was really well done. Great performances for such young actors.

Rear Window - Didn't like it as much as I hoped I would. Good, but no real suspense. God damn Grace Kelly was a fox.

Have been watching a lot of movies lately, due to shit weather and nothing better to do:

The Raid Redemption (had some amazing fight scenes, very violent)
    The Straight Story
    The Elephant Man
    Inland Empire
    Dune
    Blade Runner

I want to see Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Should I watch the whole TV series first or avoid them altogether?

Watch the show first. The movie doesn't make much sense either way, but it would make basically none without the show. The show is better anyway, even though there are some real dog episodes in the second season.
