watched tintin with the kids last night. lots of fun.
I liked it a lot. I knew very little going into it, which I think made it better. I was surprised that the girlfriend liked it as well, she is hard to please to horror flicks.
I will check this out. I have two episodes left of the first season.
Watched I Am Number Four last night. Surprised by how it wasn't terrible. Not good, mind you, but not unwatchable...
Harsh times with christian bale. it's good!
Had an absolute blast watching TinTin. Good movie.
Watched King of New York. Wikipedia says when it was shown in 1990 dudes were so offended by it they walked out of the theater and whatnot. I don't get it... it was not as gratuitous as other drug films from the era...
watched our idiot brother, based off of the reviews here. i thought it was fantastic. quirky, funny, great cast, great music, great story.
Would like to see Moonrise Kingdom this weekend, but it isn't playing anywhere around here. Hopefully, it will get a wider release in the weeks to come. Thought about see Richard Linklater's new film Bernie with Jack Black. Or Avengers, which I haven't seen. But I also have Last of the Mohicans saved on the DVR and Raging Bull is on demand for free this month (I have never seen it). Decisions, decisions.
No need to choose - the weekend is 48 hours long, and if you live somewhere in the US that Moonrise Kingdom isn't playing yet, you probably have easy access to meth. Problem solved!
Last Tango In Paris - again. What a fucking awesome movie.
Best opening line ever, Brando standing on Pont Bir Hakeim : "Fucking God!"
People raved about it. I thought it was just ok.
"Fir tha bullet holes, muthafucka!!!!"
Seeing To Rome With Love at 10:30pm tonight.
don't get your hopes up
Harsh Times is a good film and Christian Bale is both very offputting and scary as his character. He's a great actor.
I'd like to see Moonrise Kingdom too. I like Wes Anderson a lot and this film looks great, although I found Fantastic Mr Fox was not so good - he went too far with the whimsical thing.
The Avengers is very good! One of the best Marvel films yet, and almost as good as Iron Man
