whoa... great film... intense!
what did I tell ya? A goddamn brilliant piece of filmmaking.
Really good movie, but the version I have, at least, is dubbed into English, and very poorly done at that. They hired women and 17-year-old boys to portray 12-year-old boys, and the micing job was very unnatural, both in voice and in other sounds. I'm going to see if I can order the original with subtitles (which is what I just assumed this was...silly me).
My second favourite film of all time. Astonishing film.
This is one of the rare instances of a movie that is better than the book.
Good film, but it surely didn't blow me away. It looked very cold though.
the sixth sense just arrived. i have never seen it. it better be good.
It's a wonderful movie, though I think Shyamalan's best is still Unbreakable.
I enjoy his movies.
+1, don't understand the hate for that movie, I loved it. But, I'm no comic fan either, and it's the comic fans who poo-pooed it
Comic fans poo poo everything.
Unbreakable is decent, but no more than that. Sixth Sense had great pathos - the kid's dilemma, his harried mother, the relationship between Bruce Willis and Olivia Williams.
Hell, Olivia Williams' presence alone makes Sixth Sense the better movie, as Olivia Williams > Robin Penn Wright.
L'Eclisse - Monica Vitti is a doll.
I also liked Unbreakable very much. Still, I think Sixth Sense is better, but not by much.
Hopefully, not all of them....
watched the avengers i was pleasantly surprised at how much i liked it. good flick.
