Agree there, it's a long movie and it get better after half and the problem is you must see it from the beginning then it's pointless, you will not understand anything.

So buy 5 redbull and do your best, it's the best movie ever, trust me!

TTSS is a failure not because it's too long. It's too short. It's made for the wrong medium.

You have an ensemble cast - each with a deep backstory that ties into the plot. But none of that is fleshed out because you're making a feature length movie out of a BBC mini-series. When the mole is revealed, it's a shrug of the shoulders. You don't know enough about him to care.

It's like trying to compress The Wire into 2 1/2 hours.

The original with Dustin Hoffman is a great movie. This new one I heard is a piece of crap.

Was quite disappointed and Clive Owen is one of my favorite actors.

Just finished watching Outcasts (BBC show) on Netflix. The show had an interesting premise and was my type of genre (end of the world / slightly futuristic) but did not amount to much. No surprise BBC cancelled it.

They did have pretty good color throughout though:

Agree with Stevent. I, for reasons I cannot explain, love Statham movies as well, but this was not that good.

My friend was really pumped when The Straight Story came out and made me go up to the "arty" theater to watch it with him. It has Its moments, and it's probably the most normal thing Lynch has ever done, but it is pretty slow.

Gary Oldman is great. Sean Penn is predictably not. Overall I didn't really care for it too much.

I watched Columbiana the other night. I really like Luc Besson, but this was pretty bad. It had it's moments, but it was probably bout 15 minutes too long and had one plot point too many.

All 4 resident evil movies, from last to first. Pather panchali of Apu Trilogy, then Breathless, then The Third Man.
