Multiverse. Kind of an interesting topic but the time loop thing at the end doesn’t really make sense.

Watched (and enjoyed) both Hit Man and Fall Guy.
Hit Man was great. First movie in a long time to get a thumbs up from all family members.

The Caine Mutiny (1954). Bogart gets top billing as Captain Queeg but the real story is the psychodrama that unfolds among the other officers of the minesweeper USS Caine . terrific script , cast , production design , and score . recommend .

Watched the original Fun With Dick And Jane last night. George Segal, Jane Fonda and Ed McManon ("it stinks on ice!"). Watched it as a kid on HBO when it was first released, but a lot of it flew way over my head at the time. Foresaw the era of corporate downsizing and that the bean counters would eventually come for the white collar jobs too about a decade before it actually started to happen.

We did A Quiet Place I and II last night. Both excellent. To me similar to Alien and Aliens with the first being a better movie and the second leans in more to the genre

My daughter's interested in the horror genre and has a handful of 70's-80's films on her list. We watched Jaws last night. I haven't seen it since the 80's but it held up well! That Spielberg may very well make something of himself.

They filmed it on Martha's Vineyard of course but who would have thought way back then that in the 2020's, Cape Cod would end up as the great white shark capital of the world!!

Next up are the first couple of Alien movies.

T.I.M.

It's about a woman engineer and her husband. She gets a job that comes with an AI humanoid robot TIM who becomes obsessed with her. A lot of the movie would've worked out better for the woman if she weren't so stupid and automatically jumped to conclusions about her husband cheating on her with her neighbor. All she had to do was not be so dumb.

I can't share it cuz it's on Facebook but yesterday someone shot an amazing video of a great white doing a full breach off the San Francisco shore.

I love seeing the clips of them in the wild. On my handful of visits to your area, I do remember the seals. That’s what’s drawn the sharks to the cape as well.

The drone shots are most fascinating. People in knee deep water have no idea what’s lurking just feet away.

Saw Deadpool and Wolverine on Wednesday. First movie in a while to actually benefit from 3D. Without spoiling anything specific I'll say it was a fitting way to formally close out the Fox-era films. Tons of fan service including a lot of subtle (and not subtle) Easter eggs. Worth the price of admission and the time spent watching it.

As much as I looked forward to it though- it's not the best movie I've seen this year. It might not even be the most entertaining movie I've seen this year.
