Seconded! Great little movie, a real surprise.
A very underrated Lumet flick. Outstanding performances across the board especially a pre-Sopranos James Gandolfini and Ron Leibman as the grizzled, foul-mouthed DA.
ill watch anything with gandolfini. added to netlix.
Days of Heaven is on instant right now.
i agree that the cinematography is top notch i just felt like nothing in the story really progressed. *sigh* i suppose i'm just a simpleton.
Watched Shame starring Michael Fassbender. It was surprisingly good, but showed a lot of cock and titties.
Wasn't much of a story, more just about the obsession and how it controls him. For an artsy movie that's NC-17 it did a good job thought not at lust, caution level
I fil dis way wit B. Cranston
The Game (1997)
i watched tower heist last night. i was pleasantly surprised, it was a lot better than i expected. very good saturday night flick.
agree. caught it on my flight from HK to JFK a few weeks ago.....
Villa Amalia, with the incomparable Isabelle Huppert.
Awesome movie. I love when his shoe falls off and he goes, "There goes $1,000..." then the chick says, "Your shoes were $1,000???" his response, "That one was."
I watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Only decent scenes were with Moriarty.
I watched it last night too. Yes, it was good. Surprising amount of hog on show, scene where he takes a leak and everything. Think it got an NC 17. Tosses a salad as well.
