Oh, that. These nerds in college used to always have get-togethers to watch it. I was invited, but I decided to get drunk and unsuccessfully hit on girls in it's stead.

Watching MST3K yields the same results, except you get to laugh along instead of being laughed at.

A girl at a concert did spit on my shoes when I asked her if she liked Dostoevsky.

Eh, Contraband was okay, but it was a little too formulaic for me. I really like Ben Foster, however. I just wish he would branch out more and play more roles other than "the Ben Foster" role. His work on My Name is Earl was great in that way.

Now you need to watch Man on a Wire if you haven't already.

Cage has been awesome many times. Raising Arizona and Adaptation are two examples I can think of off the top of my head. That segment on SNL where Samberg impersonates him just kills me every time.

turn off your f**kin' little plastic phone and stop annoying everyone else in the theatre.

Now I know the quality of correspondence you people are typin in such places. And this is likely the more intelligent stuff.

    Agreed, A Prophet was fantastic.

I just watched We Need to Talk About Kevin. Damn, what a heavy movie. I need to go listen to some happy music now...

To those in Sydney, I strongly recommend checking out the SFF. It’s one of the highlights of my year. I’d say we easily have the most diverse film festival in the world. I can’t wait.

It’s the most Hitchcockian of his films.

She’s much cuter in ‘The Trouble with Harry’.

Even his lesser performances in ‘The Prisoner of Second Avenue’ and ‘Good Neighbor Sam' stack up well against his best (Days of Wine and Roses; Save the Tiger; The Apartment). He’s just a pleasure to watch.
