Watched for the first time tonight. A real pleasure. Not an all-timer but got the job done well. You can always count on Soderbergh for a good time.

The Dig on Netflix. Beautiful movie, great for period attire.
Watched this last night great story and expertly attired both in formal and casual wear. Highly recomended.

Hmm, I haven't watched as many movies lately because I was so caught up with exams and study. But I swear every time I got at least one hour free, I immediately watch a movie, a new episode from my TV series or a documentary. They are relaxing me so much, they literally take the pressure off my shoulders. I've been a fan of psychological movies since forever. Those are my favorites, I love watching them and barely understanding something, just to look at the end on youtube at its explanation :D Aaand a movie like this, which completely destroyed my mind would be this loop movie called Predestination. Absolutely amazing!!! It fckin blew my mind I swear! If you like these movies too, this is definitely for you :D

heavens-to-bear i tried watching Ides of March. i was laughing too hard when ERW asks Gosling for 900 bucks for an abortion, had to turn it off. Clooney has the worst taste.

It's my favorite of the financial crisis movies, a genre full of not-very-good movies. Most plots related to the crisis will be "predicatable" but the cast of Margin Call is excellent - Tucci, Bettany, Irons, Spacey. Each actor gets just enough to chew on and crush a longer scene. Quinto is probably my least favorite. Definitely super easy to jump in and out of - oh, I'll just watch Tucci's bridge speech, or I'll just watch the board meeting.

Re-watched Last of the Mohicans recently. Cinematography is still great, screenplay still so/so, acting still horrible. 6/10.

Hm was thinking of watching that, I've never seen it before but like Daniel Day Lewis. I just know the "I WILL FIND YOU" quote from the general cultural zeitgeist. Might hold off.

It's worth a watch as the cinematography really is spectacular.

For DDL with similar, if not better cinematography and just a much better movie overall, my vote goes to “There Will Be Blood”.

Also, the score is fantastic.
