Made a bandage out of paper towel and hockey tape after slicing my thumb while drying my knife.

Didn't even use a bandage after slicing my thumb while drying my knife. Just bled until I passed out.

today was a passively manly day: watched basketball, a Clint Eastwood movie, and farted profusely.

had some scrap wood from a neighbor's tree... some big as logs and branches that would never fit in the fireplace so I got the axe, splitter and wedges and went to town on that ****. I actually really enjoy the natural, no nonsense act of chopping wood. It's just very real and therapeutic as well... I've murdered far fewer people since I took up the wood chopping.

used a metal bit on the drill to get some better drainage out of this thing on the side of the house that is kind of an auxiliary gutter/downspout. I think that's the end of that bit!
