Cooked breakfast for my girls - wife and daughters - took them to see the musical Aladdin, we went out for lunch, and napped. Cleaned the fish tank, now marinating dinner.

I've been working on motorcycles and cars while swigging cheap beer and whiskey, throwing wrenches at windows all the while. In the rain.

I would just like to say I made a batch of whipped cream.

    Without a power mixer.

That's right, motherfuckers. I made whipped cream with a bowl, a wire whisk, and a shitload of elbow grease. And it fucking rocks.

And I sharpened a few razors while I was at it.

    I had a Wagyu carpaccio.

I don't think I like carpaccio, at all.

Yesterday, I installed a 24 x 26" rolling shelf in my closet to start a proper shoe storage system there. That was a test shelf to make sure the 8 others will fit - success and 8 shelves now on order. Will solve a major headache in my closet.

I doubt that most men would consider it manly to install 8 shelves for storing a shoe collection, but good job anyway. [IMG]

That's as manly as it gets for me! [IMG] I mean... I used a power tool, OK?

I finished the project today by installing the other 8 rolling shelves in my closet for my shoes - top 2 shelves have higher headroom for boots - I'm pretty happy with the result (which is why I posted this in 3 threads already - looking for more...)

^ While I admire the construction aspect of it, I would consider it more manly if you'd build it to house your wife's shoes - not yours.

Me? oh I lost at chess to prove I'm kind of smart but not TOO smart.

Don't think so. Selfishness is manly - generosity if for sissies [IMG]

I'd be more impressed if you built one for Aportnoy.

That would require its own building permit.

I took out two broken fluorescent bulbs by balancing precariously on a closet shelf. And then I was manly enough to not replace them and leave the broken ones on the closet floor.
