Hi guys, I'm new here. Anyway, I saw this country singer (Easton Corbin) wearing this nice suit at the ACM Awards last week, and I think it looks really sharp. Any idea on what kind it is?

What do you mean by "kind"? If you are asking what brand it is, lord knows.

If you mean the name of the style, it's a one-button shawl-collar dinner jacket.

I think the jacket looks okay, but the matching vest underneath with weird leather detail in imitation of the main contrast lapel is quite ugly.

Also, it is not a suit as a suit has matching pants.

A suit that can only be worn by a celebrity. If they even sold that monstrosity in a store I'd be surprised.

Anythony, things that celebrities wear to award shows were only meant for award shows. Even then they get ripped apart.

it's a play on a tuxedo. If I thought that guy wasn't a douche and was really smart, I'd see the irony of what he's done but nah, he's probably just a poorly dressed idiot.

the jacket style is a shawl collar (as opposed to notch or peak), single buttoned, with a satin fabric on the lapel, ie a traditional tux jacket. the color makes is flashy.
the vest is just ugly.
the pants, well I think that's obvious.

Dislike everything about that outfit, even the shoes.

It's a leftover Prom Tux jacket from the 60's. Yes we wore that kind of thing in the 60's w/ the frilly front shirt. You might pick up something like that, used from a retiring member of a Labamba band.

Aside from jeans, hats and Nudies suits, hasn't Nashville always had a kind of tacky look? That is sort of the appeal and fun. This is just a newer version. Just google pics of any CMA show especially in the 70's and 80's. It certainly wasn't old-Hollywood glamour.

An ill-fitting suit. Pants and sleeves far too long.
