What kind of shirt is this?

I received a red button down shirt as a gift and would like to know if this material has a certain name as I’d like to buy another one.

It’s a very soft, almost corduroy like material. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in stores, but I know they’re around as the person I received the gift from said she found it in old navy once.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Almost corduroy? Based on what I see, that’s what it is.

it seems even softer and more velvety than corduroy, but you’re probably right. Thanks

Looks like thin wale cord. Moleskin (another fustian fabric) will give you a similar look/feel without the wales.
