it is considered EXTREMELY bad form to waltz into an internet forum and right away start asking people "So, what do you guys do to afford all those clothes". There are idiots doing this all over the net.

So shut the fuck up. What does that say about this forum?

It seems to me your vulgar incivility is far worse form! Nobody was forced to answer the OP's question. Some did so semi-seriously, some flippantly, but then that's this forum!

You know you guys are just making me even more angry, right?

And you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Actually I think the OP had a thoughtful question. It never hurts to know what the perspective is of a poster. It helps immensely in understanding their POV. Unfortunately the responses so far seem to say alot about SF and I don't know that it is flattering. Perry
There are almost 37,000 posts in WAYW, so that should give the OP a decent grasp of our style. The rest he should be able to deduce without asking personal questions. The responses he's received are about what I'd expect.

I'm surprised at how many students are on this site. Especially those that are still in high-school!
students, especially those in college, could benefit the most from some style advice. a lot of us need to get out there and try to get real jobs, meaning we need to know how to dress the part. people who have been in their career for a decade probably wouldn't care to change the way they dress, unless they were looking for a new job or were recently promoted.

I have to admit now that I'm not a scrappy kid.

Instead, I will go with biggus dickus.

    Thank you.
