Hi
I need to upgrade my wardrobe, and tomorrow i am going to buy a pair of Chuch Burwood brogues, in brown. http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produc...=&colour_id=24

I always wear clothes that fit me well, and are slim fit.
I am going to wear the shoes as my everyday shoe, and therefore with a farily preppycasual attire.
(rawdenim jeans, vneck, buttondown shirts, ect)

What kind of pants would be nice with these shoes?

Did you not just say what pants you were going to wear? Also, I would suggest at least a two shoe rotation. You can wear pretty much anything with these, although darker is better.

considering they're a balmoral I'd say they're a little more formal then just a plainer brogued blutcher. even for "preppycasual" I still think they're a bit on the dressy side.

if you're set on buying those... well this just seems like a dumb question. They go with practically anything. Am I missing something about your post?

agree with MC...balmorals are too dressy for casual wear...brogue bluchers in general are less formal, IMO...

but again, if you like this pair, then go for it...and I would wear darker shades of pants/trousers...for suiting, I think this will look great with blue and grey.. .

Good Luck

Lies. Even the Herring Shoes link above says they'd look good with jeans. Personally, I think one can get along perfectly fine without owning a single pair of bluchers.

Dont you think they are casual enough for everyday wear?
What would you suggest instead?

Yeah....wasn't the whole point of brogueing to let all that country water slosh out your shoes?
