What kind of jacket is this?

Im not a fan of the oc by anymeans but i like this jacket on the left. It looks like its a two button jacket with out any padding or pockets.

No, it's a jacket of some kind. You can just barely see the breast pocket. You could try ripping all the canvas out of a flannel blazer, and see how close you get. Otherwise, no clue.

Well I guess I'll admit OC is one of my guilty pleasures (however, it has jumped the shark and I don't watch it anymore). The jacket Adam Brody is wearing he's worn several times on the show and I really like it. As has been pointed out it's an unconstructed blazer that is cut for his shoulders particularly well. I think it's made out of cord because the collar is always "popped."
