I need to replace my glasses and I'm wondering if anybody has some of that software that lets you see what you look like in different styles. What kind of frames do you think I would look good in? I need both regular glasses & a pair of dark sunglasses.

Avoid anything round as you already have a round face. I would go with something like a Wayfarer.

Avoid round glasses, as poster above said.

Check out Shruon Revelations. Maybe something like that? Maybe check what else Shuron has, or Moscot.

For those who might be looking for rounder glasses, apparently Oliver People is rereleasing the O'Malley, which is great news.

Nobody looks good in any kind of glasses. Squint and stumble if you have to. Babes dig helpless; glasses, not so much.

+1 for the rectangular. I think a simple black frame could be good. Something like what Colin Firth wore in A Single Man, but with simpler temples and not so thick.

Mykita is an excellent choice. They have a line of rectangular glasses that aren't too thick and still manage to be interesting. They're expensive, but this is something you'll wear all the time, so this is no place to skimp. Of course, you need to try them on in person. Call around to a few optical shops to make sure they have the brand you're looking for before you go. I have a pair of Paul Smith in black plastic frames, but regret not getting the Mykitas which are both sleeker and more durable. EDIT: Here's the model I'm thinking of. It's made of steel, I believe. Very slim. Very durable. http://www.viziooptic.com/designer-e...ses-15333.aspx

Thank you for the advice. Here are the glasses I have now. I don't own sunglasses, though. I wish thicker rimmed glasses looked good on me.

maybe true from a woman's perspective, i think women in glasses look hotter than those without.

semi-rimless rectangular. I'm an optometry student too. Something very similar to what you have above but with the bottom portion rimless.
