I'm looking for something a bit longer than normal pea coats and can be worn with a sweater+jeans. Preferably black or dark blue

First of all, what are these coats called?

Also, are coats like this all made to be worn over a suit? Would I need to get it resized or can I wear it more loosely over a sweater

Pictures would be nice too!

(I'm a guy btw)

A nice barbour or aquascutum trench coat (done up properly) means all's covered anyway. Everyone should have any anyway, fantastic things. Aquascutum's blue trench, from this season is pretty cool, quite stylish.

interestingly, I just started a thread asking about a coat I just bought, I think it's a keeper. Club monaco, men's henry wool melton coat, look it up at club monaco.com - collections - mens

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
