1967 cart with new wheels purchased in 2003. One wheel slightly out of round but I use aggressive counter weighting to balance it out. Frame is a lightweight composite with a cross-hatch design to minimize weight: [IMG]

I used to have an '03 mr-2 spyder!
My brother bought one this year and put a celica GTS motor and transmission in it. By the end of winter it should be faster then a lotus elise and spent maybe 15 grand on the whole thing. Biggest complaint with the celica, MR2 and the elise is the motors high cam cross over. It's so fucking high in the rev range and even with the 6 speed it falls down low enough to get out of the high cam. For twisty roads the MR2 is great fun. You sit higher then the elise so you have a more commanding view of the road. I haven't driven it in 3 months but my brother said he got the cam thing worked out. Oh and here are my cars. One being rebuilt obviously. Taking way llonger then I thought it would. [IMG]

You can fix this in the Hondas anyway, I had a 2.2L Prelude DOHC and had the second cam switch on at 4500 instead of 5400 and it felt a lot more normal to drive that way...smoother second cam engagement instead of slow....then GO.
Yeah I think it works the same way you just hook up one of those apexi vtec controllers. I used to have an insanely fast turbo civic with hondata running the show. The fastest car I ever owned. 350whp in FWD was kinda interesting. This was my daily driver for about 4 years LOL [IMG] By the way I love the look of the E30. To me when I think of BMW and what a BMW should be I think of that car.

yeah, thats what i had, i forgot what it was called. weird to be in fast cars with no torque like that... a strange sensation.

Im driving a f150 with 9'' of lift on 35s with a stereo that im finally happy with (diamond/treo/eclipse)...its paid for, but i think next year im wanting a S4 audi, like an 04 with the v8 now that i finally got some money tucked away.
