I like the rugby stripe look I have seen from a lot of different places lately. I'd like those in a shorter board short once I stumble on the right pair.

I don't really enjoy swimming in pools, and the ocean smells like canned vegetables... I think I donated my swim trunks to salvation armani.

If I swim I hope it is in a lake or creek, that way I can be super white trash and wear cut off wranglers and a wifebeater.

I have some Hurley board shorts and a couple pair of polo trunks that cut off right above the knee. Depends on what I'm doing as to what I"ll wear.

I like the look of board shorts, but they're usually too long, and they drop too far below my knees. I feel you've got to be pretty tall (like 6'2+) to pull them off really well.

If I were on an unlimited budget, I'd go with Sundek and Vilebriquin. For now I'll probably just stick with the inexpensive Victorinox trunks I got last year.

4" Parke & Ronen shorts, they are pretty short but I've gotten compliments on them already.

I grew up in Orange County and they're a local company - they've been around forever. I got a pair a few summers ago and they're indestructible. You can call the factory and order from them directly. It's still a small family run operation and they'll mto anything you want, in any color combo or style.

Can't stand ugly floral printed long board shorts. Im pretty fair skinned and chubby in parts so Im going to go for some knee-length solid navy colored board shorts from Old Navy. Can't beat $15.
