Master take? Do tell....

I scored the Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section mono on Record Store Day. I've had the CD for years. It's a little great, a little milquetoast. But I've listened to spun it a dozen times since I picked it up.

The Complete Prestige Recordings, The Freelance Years (Contemporary and Riverside sessions), the Complete RCA Recordings, plus every other studio album.

The Time Life Giants of Jazz series. On 8 track. I got a mini-collection and going through them - Jelly Roll Morton, Sidney Bechet and Louis Armstrong so far. Pretty good. Though it took me a while to get used to the format, both machines and tapes.
