Some of these " ___ and ___ tees have fit me well." posts are fairly hard to decipher without some general knowledge of height/weight/build.

Someone could be 6'3 and skinny vs someone 5'6 and built. Flattering fits really depend on body type.

I agree. Post your height/weight along with your favorite Ts. I purchased a woman's XL and a man's S alternative apparel T. I figure I can probably fit in both, but I'll see which one fits my frame better. I am 5' 6" and 140 lbs, though I'm usually 133-135 lbs.

I agree. The fit isn't flattering in S. XS was simply too restrictive. But for $4.90 a pop, they're pretty nice when you're looking for just a plain jane T.

My problem with tees is that they are way too big for my waist or don't fit my shoulders. Don't kill me, but Abercrombie is one of the few brands around that actually fits me quite well.

In the interest of avoiding giant moose, Urban outfitters is a pretty good compromise for shoulders/waist, too.

Agreed. Finest T I've ever worn; as are all of their products.

I seem to have the same problem--I'm 6'0, an athletic 170 lbs, and they rise a tad bit short, even though I need a small in the body fit

Since you guys have experience with them are any of these brands quite short. I'm 5'8' and honestly prefer a shorter tee shirt but its hard to find something "short" on a guy my height.

Note: I've tried uniqlo and like it but I'm not thrilled or anything by the way the bodies cut.

Well, I'm about the same height as you. Try my suggestions earlier in the thread-- Alternative Apparel, and the Merona (Target brand) 5% lycra shirts.

The two best fitting tee's I've ever worn were Lucky brand tee's.

I love 55dsl slim fit t-shirts. Slim, but not tight, and slightly stretchy.

Banana republic fitted crew neck. I find that most t-shirts are way too long, this is one of the few brands that fits length wise. They are also holding up well to wear and tear. The gap version appears to be identical fit but lesser quality fabric?
