I included beer, which I know isn't called a spirit, but I realize that many people just like beer.

I'm not much of a drinker but I do like rum and some liqueurs.

For drinking by itself or in cocktails?

By itself, there is little I like more than a glass of Grand Marnier. mmmmmmmmmmmm.

They had a little bottle of that at the state store and I tried it. It was good.

Voted scotch. But by that, I mean single malts not Johhny Walker or something like that.

I voted North American because I'm a huge bourbon fan. A friend from KY introduced me to Knob Creek a few years ago, and it sort of snowballed from there.

Yeah, I didn't think about that. I assume that it's to late to change the poll? I'm surprised at all the Whisky / Whiskey love! Honestly, I don't remember ever trying any?!?!

Scotch, but in considering, I'm surprised how highly gin ranks on my list. I must have something like 15+ gins these days (I think it's time I got a spreadsheet going).

Would be interesting to see your list of spirits/pictures of your bar.

We'd need IMAX-sized monitors to see it all at once.

Me: bourbon's my first reach. After that scotch and then rum. But I rank some rums above some bourbons and likewise with scotches. So I'm a bit confused, I guess.
