Seconded. Just put some freaking product in your hair and keep it short.

that stuff looks promising, i might try it out. i use some Redken wax that I got a while ago and it has decent hold and nice texture. my hair is like bear fur it's can be difficult to deal with, so i keep it somewhat short. and to the OP, just experiment with some pomades that have good hold and you should be able to achieve a similar or better look, but you definitely need to grow it out some more.

If you do it .. don't bleach/frost the tips. Just rock the spikey dark hair.

That hair cut is pretty standard .. longer on top, short on sides. If you leave it dark (and not bleach the tips) you can do a million things with it. Bleaching the tips definitely limits the potential.
