while i once ignorantly dated a guy who had a wannabe faux-hawk (the absolute worst kind there is), i've always thought they were a pretty try-hard way to look cool, and not very attractive as a result.

I don't know what the rage is in all the other cities, but I arrived in Montreal last summer only to witness something spectacular.

I'm glad to report its back this season and is something I can only describe as the Faux-hawk-mullet.

Sometimes it's a full on mullet with a faux hawk, a lot of the times its a little rat tail mullety thing.

If I was confident enough to take pictures of people out on the street I could probably post at least 4-5 new ones a day that I see.

It's about as amazing as it sounds and a little piece of me dies every time I see it.

thom yorke pulled it off best, imo but yeah i've noticed it creeping back. I blame Charlie (Lost).
