OP, I'm going through the same stuff. After three years she's just now getting a hang of buying on her own. Mine was a fresh from the Midwest girl who mostly hung out with granolas. Midwestern granolas are the worst. All of the smug mixed in with repression. It's been a tough battle, but it's a battle we have to fight. Just get the dresses hemmed when shes on vacation. Inch by inch...
