What Is The Shelf Life For Most Hair Styling Products?

There is a putty hair styling product that I love, but unfortunately it is being discontinued and stores are selling it for next to nothing. So I could buy a ton of this stuff that would last me a year or maybe two, but what is the general shelf life of these (putty's, paste's, creme's, wax's, etc.) hair styling products? Do they break down in quality at some point or are they still good 4 years later?

If a product has a shelf life it'll have small symbol somewhere on the container or packaging. The symbol looks like a jar with the lid off and numbers followed buy the letter "M." 24M for example.

I always keep in fridge temperature still to 3degree centigrade.

Woah, never knew that! Thanks man. The image seems to indicate that the number is months after opening. If there's no symbol, it's likely not very high quality, so who gives?

i had a small tub of wax/putty that dried out when i stopped using it. i think you just gotta make sure they dont dry out and they should be fine.

You are incorrect. The PAO symbol (product after opening) that you mention does not state the shelf life of the product but the number of months the product is safe to use AFTER it has been opened. Shelf-life of the product is unknown.
