Is the current regular price for E-G 495 U.K.? How much off for V.A.T.? how much back on for shipping to the states?

Are there any stateside sellers other than Sky Valet? I believe they are now $995 plus shipping on shoes that aren't already in stock?

Can someone confirm this?

Also - when is the next E-G sale? Every six months, or only once a year?

Thanks!

Bob Ellis shoes in Charleston, S.C. sells them. I saw some there for $795, but the price varies by model.

The London shop has two sales a year.
Winter sale will begin right after Christmas.

The dark oak Grants on Polo.com are sweet. They also look purdy nice in burnt pine, though.

As of 7/22, there were still some sale shoes available for $525 (this includes shipping).

I popped into Edward Green yesterday and yes the sale's still on.

Probably best to call them directly to see what's available though, because the lists that they email you don't seem to be an accurate reflection of the sale stock.

In particular, it looks like they may have added some shoes to the sale, e.g. in my size, they've added a Cadogan in dark oak on last 82 that definitely wasn't there when the sale started a few weeks ago and has never appeared on the lists that they've emailed to me.

IIRC, Sky Valet sells in-stock EGs for $895, with the exception of the Dover, which sells for $1025.

Polo.com indicates that the price for RLPL/EGs has increased from $850 to $895. These shoes go on sale twice a year -- in mid to late May and November -- at which time they can be bought for between $500 and $600.

Good call TK. I had a chat with the shop today and there are definitely some tasty morsels left to be had. I'm trying my best to refrain but resistence is futile.

Why does the Dover sell for 15% more than the others? Is it more costly to manufacture? Or is it simply a function of what the market will bear?
