No. They're a Swedish brand pretending to be Italian, selling semi-decent shoes at terribly inflated prices.

Thanks, Ziss! My gut feeling was telling me there's something unnatural about this brand.

    Hey guys,

I just bought my first pair of Italigente shoes. I will be happy to get back to you when I get feeling for the quality of the leather and construction. Don't worry, I won't be afraid to criticize something just because I bought it myself. The brand is Swedish, but she shoes are made in a respectable factory in Northern Italy. Look out for a post!

    Hello,

Too bad some of you don't like them. I think they are really good and of good quality.

They also feel solid. I have a couple of examples in my humble blog:

These are sold under the brand name "Oscar Jacobson". One year old, lovely patina.

    Best regards

    right here, for now
After reading j ingevaldsson's post in the Hardcore thread, I stumbled on this brand and ordered :

VERY quick shipping and perfect fit & decent finishing too.
I fully intend NOT to take care of these. I believe, unkept, they will evolve into an awesomely distressed jeans shoe.
