Hey everyone I have been lurking for awhile this is my first post and I hope to post much more in the coming months.

Anyways I was just watching Batman and I wanted to know what kind of knot Christian Bale was using on his ties?

It's not hard to tie... just google it. There are huge amounts of sites and videos about different knots. I think Bale's tie has a thin material though, judging by how small the knot it. Some ties are too sustantial for anything but the FIH knot. I actually like the FIH best, due to its assymetrical nature.

^ +1. This one was too long for a FIH, hence the half windsor. The other tie I posted in that post would be too thick for a half windsor.

You're wearing the same jacket as him. Stop being creepy.

And why does Chrisitian Bale always looks like he has a mouthguard in?

What kind of collar does Bale wear on his dress shirt in the batman scene where joker invades his loft party?

It looks like the Nicky to me, which is the knot my father taught so its the one I wore routinely for a very long time. It is usually referred to as a smaller knot, but I think it is medium-sized -- but of course, to a great degree, the size of the knot depends of the thickness of the fabric. It is a symmetrical knot

Only learned recently it is called the Nicky -- probably has some other name, and I hope it does.

Looks like a Pratt knot to me.
