    That calories in - calories out is a load of shite edit: for fat loss/gain/body composition, weight is a poor number to judge by unless you're skinny / a fatty / have a BW specific goal

    Habitually eating a boatload of calories at specific times of the day is not a difficult habit to break. People should really try.

    I tend to agree.

    The best advice ever: paying attention to your diet - that one has yielded the best results.

    Nah! I'm a real skinny bitch and constantly crave food. On the weekends I easily intake more than 10,000 calories. Even If I am hungry all the time I try to limit myself to just 2 large meals a day during week days.

    Wasn't directed at me per se, but I try to live by it. Probably the most intelligent thing to ever come out of Matthew Mcconaughey's mouth; he was talking about staying in shape and said he tried to do something every day that would cause him to break a sweat.

    Not necessarily simple and obvious, as it seems. I heard the opposite: eat small portions(graze)all the time (healthy food, obviously) well before you get hungry.

    Basically applies to everything.

    Exercise specific...Steve from my gym summed it up nicely: "will you stop being such a pussy and just lift the fucking thing."
