What is the difference between ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA suits and ZEGNA suits?

I think zegna is like armani exchange is to armarni. correct me if i'm wrong

You probably mean Z Zegna, it's a younger and more fashion oriented line. Not as well constructed as Ermenegildo Zegna.

Z Zegna is also made in Mexico, not Italy. Though I've read that some E. Zegna is not even made in Italy these days. I agree with Atlantic herring. The Z Zegna I've seen and tried on (mostly at Bloomingdales) has not been nearly as well constructed as the E. Zegna suits and jackets that I've bought in Italy.

From what I understand Ermenegildo Zegna have factories in Switzerland (with mostly Italian tailors) and in Spain as well. Both produce good quality.
