The older RL Purple Label were excellent garments. I think made by St Andrews in Italy. https://www.saintandrews.it/ The RLPL shoes were once by Edward Green. Sadly that has all stopped now. The true beauty of that arrangement was that RL had massive sales to clear out inventory so you could get most excellent garments at the end of the season at normal prices.My wife got me an RL Purple label wool overcoat maybe 10-12 plus years ago that I have no idea what she paid for it. But that thing wears like a champ. It's in storage because we live in Florida now. However, love that coat.
I was unaware of St Andrews making the garments, thank you. I always wondered why the coat looked hand made. But I always thought, no, that couldn't be.
