What is the best leather for a MTM Glove - Peccary or Carpincho ???

I recently purchased my husband a pair of Peccary Gloves with baby alpaca lining. In my opinion the leather is absolutely perfect... soft, buttery and strong. I want to have a pair MTM for myself, but I was curious about Carpincho. It looks a little thick and rough in the photos I have seen. The pair I purchased for my husband was made of Peruvian Peccary by J. Bauhaus. I was thinking to have my pair MTM by them also. But then I heard that in Argentina the Carpincho is also very nice.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
