Always on the quest for some 'intensity' music for lifting weights?
So what does it for you?

Mudvayne is good at getting you pumped. Though, sometimes I get too pumped doing it so I don't listen to it during squats (I think it's dangerous to try to force reps on squats).

I listen to The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Korn. Sometimes move to Ludacris.

C/DC - Back in Black

I too have listened to The Go! Team during my workout on a few occasions.

Luda
T.I.
Pastor Troy
etc.

Not my normal first choices in music, but great for working out or running to. Basically anything with a real hard bassline and a quicker beat gets me pumped up.

Rocks Off, Exile on Main Street, Rolling Stones. Very motivating, along with U2.

Turandot (yes, the opera) is also great, but the volume at my gym drowns out the quieter pasages.

Cheers.

I'm more specific about what kind of music I listen to when I run than when I am lifting weights. I find that if I listen to music with a heavy and fast beat when I'm running it makes me go too fast and tire too quickly so I like to listen to ambient music or ethereal dream pop type stuff.

ie Ulrich Schnauss, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Chameleons UK, Lush, etc.
